About us...

My name is Lidia, I was born in 1984. I was born in Poland and emigrated to Germany a few years ago. After a few attempts, I worked there for over ten years as a qualified physiotherapist in a practice for physiotherapy and remedial gymnastics near Hamburg. During this time, I also met David and decided to walk our shared path. Through him, I gradually discovered a close-to-nature, adventurous lifestyle and off-road travel with a roof tent for myself. From this, an ever-growing interest in useful plants developed, leading to the idea of self-sufficiency. In Germany, we had everything, but not what truly made us happy at the end of the day – except for each other. This is how our current challenge here in central Sweden came into being: a small campsite in the middle of nature with a large garden for growing our own food, where I can further deepen my interests. Here at the campsite, humor, homegrown vegetables and fruit, homemade products and, of course, soothing massages are meant to come together for relaxation.

My name is David, I was born in 1984 in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. After completing my training as a restaurant specialist, I worked for many years in the hospitality industry – both in service and in the kitchen. Over time, I felt increasingly drawn to nightlife and discovered a completely new perspective for myself. I successfully completed a second training as a bartender and then worked as a head bartender in cocktail bars, in catering and in resorts.
Although I greatly enjoyed this profession and had the opportunity to meet many different people and personalities, nightlife left its mark on my family life. This led me to think deeply about my future career path. Out of my passion for big vehicles and adventure, I ultimately decided to train as a professional driver. For 15 years, I worked in local and long-distance transport and also as a fleet manager.
In 2012, I bought my own house near Hamburg, which I refurbished, extended and renovated. I loved my garden and everything I had created there. Then Lidia came into my life. We lived together in the house for several years and both had good jobs, but we felt that something was missing and that we were not truly happy.
This is how the idea was born: all or nothing – nothing ventured, nothing gained. We decided to combine our skills and interests and create a small campsite in a completely new, unfamiliar country. Here, the aim is to share hospitality with guests and let them experience a sense of adventure as well as a place of peace and tranquility.

So much connects us, things we can identify with – and through which a mindful stay among like-minded people becomes possible for guests.
